Pergolas

We offer a range of building materials including hardwood, treated pine and metal (a full description is available below).

Timber:

Hardwood is extremely strong and hardwearing. It does however tend to split and crack over time (this does not effect the utility of the pergola) and is most suitable to customers that don't mind the rustic look.

Treated pine is the premium timber used in most pergolas at present. It is kiln dried, so shrinkage is minimal and it is dressed-all-round for a smoother, more refined finish. Additionally, it is treated against termite invasion which is particularly useful in the bush capital.

All timber that is to be used outdoors should be painted, particularly at the ends, as this is where water tends to penetrate.

There is a variety of roofing options for all of our timber pergolas including shade cloth, Lazerlite Plus, Lazerlite Apollo, Lazerlite XPT, colorbond steel or a combination of these materials.

Metal:

We specialise in the construction of metal pergolas and offer a range of options. All products are constructed with colorbond roofing with powder coated steel posts and beams. All products come complete with guttering and down pipes.

Metal pergolas are maintenance free and come with standard manufacturer’s warranty. U-Relax will co-ordinate the entire project from conception to completion.

A variety of styles are available to suit all budgets and tastes.

Decks

Decks are normally constructed from treated pine with your choice of decking material, however U-Relax also offers a steel substructure.

Sunrooms/Screened Enclosures

Sunrooms and screened enclosures are an extremely affordable method of extending your living and entertaining area. U-Relax offers an extensive range of options to suit your particular needs.

Metal Garages and Carports

U-Relax has access to a range of suppliers and superior products to ensure that your garage or carport is exactly what you want. Whilst a range of standard sizes are available, custom sizes are catered for.
